Train and Skydive AFF in the same day. 1 hr from Atlanta & Chattanooga.

Your class will be about 4-6 hours for your first jump. You will cover all aspects of safe Skydiving. The class is the same for a one time jumper or someone who wants to continue in the sport full time. You will get to be actively involved in the topics trained and you'll be using your own freefall rig on this type of skydive.
During the class you'll practice the proper procedures for using the equipment, aircraft exiting, freefall body position, identifying a pass/fail canopy, and how to safely land it. The class is not like being in the "army", Skydiving is FUN!
Some folks call parachuting "skydiving". Skydiving is two parts Freefall and Canopy flight. A lot of time in class is spent on the dynamics of SAFE canopy flight. Every freefall needs to end with a Safe canopy flight. We will train a bunch on Canopy Control.
It's time to load the plane. Skydivers normally use aircraft with the seats removed so we can use all the space inside for jumpers. Stay with your instructor, they'll show you how to board. If you're getting a video the video flyer will want to get some comments from you on what's going through your mind at this point. You might also practice the exit one or two more times.
It's time for the exit. The door opens up and you follow your instructors directions, it's just like in class and you know just what to do. You Arch and enter the world of Skydiving!
You've left the plane 2 miles above the world you knew and are now in Freefall! It's like nothing you've ever done before. You're in freefall with your two instructors at your side. After your required maneuvers are complete relax, look around, and smile for the camera!
To help you along on your early levels a radio person will be on the ground to talk you through your canopy flight. Most people need very little direction after the first jump course on how to fly a Ram-Air Canopy.
The rush isn't over yet though, once the Freefall is done there is a canopy flight that provides you with the best view you'll ever witness! From almost a mile up I have heard many students screaming with excitement!
Ram-Air canopys can be flown like a glider. You'll fly your landing pattern and set yourself down into our large grassy landing area. The landing is normally soft and gentle.
Nothing can compare with the Thrill of Skydiving, and you did it!
You'll now find yourself looking back up at the sky with a different feeling. You're a SKYDIVER!

Skydiving in Rome Georgia is great! Georgia Skydiving Center is 1 hour from Atlanta and Chattanooga. The parachute center is near Alabama, and Tennessee too. Make a skydive, tandem, aff, or static-line. It's a thrill to skydive !
